Deadwood Hot Springs

Our big accomplishment this summer was that we finally made it to Deadwood Hot Springs.  It is one of the best hot springs in the state but it is pretty hard to get to.  The hot springs is built up on a rocky overhang with concrete and pipes redirect the water from the source into the pool which you fill when you get there.  We drove 25 miles on a dirt road from Lowman to get to Deadwood Reservoir and then it was a 3 mile hike from there.  We brought our bikes for most of the trail and packed everything in.  It was the most amazing hot springs I had ever been to and was totally worth it! I hope I can get to there again!
